Since October 17th, 2011 I knew I was coming to Penn State along with about 10,000 other freshman. I am currently in the Business School but am still undecided about my specific major. I love everything that this school has to offer. I didn't plan on becoming someone whole lived to bleed blue and white but it is true that you don't understand Penn State spirit unless you go here. Now I have plans to attend football games and THON as a dedicated alumni.
I grew up in Ambler, Pennsylvania which is in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I lived in a big neighborhood with my parents and my younger sister. My sister and I loved making up games with our friends in the nieghborhood. My whole life I have loved to play soccer and basketball. In High School I was most involved in sports, being a captain for the Girls Varsity soccer and basketball teams, but I was also recognized for my academics. My family loves to take beach and ski vacations. In the past I have spent summers life guarding at local pools but this summer I am looking forward to living at the beach. I am excited about what these next 4 years at Penn State will bring me.
